I have never been confined at a hospital so it was really scary to be checked in while traveling in Nepal, all alone. I experienced some altitude sickness while doing the Annapurna trek and got emergency treatment here, spending one night. I received exceptional care from all my doctors, nurses, and the staff. From the ambulance pickup to discharge, I didn’t have to worry about anything. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel very taken care of, so it definitely eased my nerves right away. The hospital room was so nice and clean, and the food was great (first time to try hospital food that was actually good lol), it almost felt like a hotel. Everyone was also so patient with every question I had, and helped me with all my insurance papers. Thank you so so much to Dr. Gurung, Dr. Baskota, nurses Susanna, Reeya, Rupiswa, and everyone else who helped me (so sorry I didn’t get all your names)!
